Yet, you should know that there are usually lots of lockers called "Coin Locker" here in Japan at any major JR station. By Train + Local bus/Taxi
From Tokyo and Yokohama areas
If you are coming from Shinjuku or Yokohama area either by train or express bus, please transfer to Yamanashi Kotsu Bus (山梨交通バス) at KOFU Station.
After you get off the bus, you will see a traffic light in a westward direction. Please walk toward the light and cross the main street (R.52) and walk straight on for about another 400 meters and you will see our blue ractangular-shape sign [中込農園 (NAKAGOMI NOUEN)] on your left.

As for Chuo Express Bus, you can call either 03-5376-2222 or 055-237-0135 to make your reservation. For both the Chuo Line express train & Chuo Express Bus, they have coupon tickets which give you a little more reasonable fares than regular ones in case you make round-trip or come with others.
Outside the south (main entrance) exit of JR KOFU Station, you will see the bus terminal of YAMANASHI KOTSU. At the bus terminal, please make sure that you are taking NISHINO-KEIYU BUS (which is the bus bringing you through NISHINO area in SHIRANE town to this direction). The NISHINO-KEIYU (西野経由),goes to various destinations but please don't worry.
Nishino-keiyu starts at the no. (1) lane of the terminal. As long as you take NISHINO-KEIYU, then, the bus will come this way. After about 30 minutes' ride, the bus will bring you to SANGAI (三階) stop where you must get off. You must press the button to inform a bus driver of your getting off next when you hear the announcement telling you “Next, Sangai.” Otherwise, I suggest you to talk to a bus driver about your getting off at Sangai bus stop in advance and sit near him on the bus.

After you arrive at JR Kofu Station, you have two choices to get to our farm.
Either you take Yamanashi Kotsu local bus by way of Nishino Keiyu and come to Sangai Bus Stop. Or at JR Kofu Station, you take local train to JR Shiozaki station that locates two stops after Kofu. By that I mean Kofu-Ryuo-Shiozaki in order.
At JR Shiozaki Station, please take a taxi and come to Nakagomi Orchard in Minami Alps City. If you have trouble communicating with a taxi driver, then, you can let me talk to him on your mobile phone or public phone at the station. Then, I can talk to him for you and give him direction to get here.
Usually, it takes 15 to 20 min. from Shiozaki Station to get here and cost you around 3,000 yen one way.
If you take a taxi from JR Kofu, then, it will cost you around 6,000 yen - 6,500 yen for one way. That's why I suggest you to come to Shiozaki Station and take a taxi Station to come to our farm.
Yet, the best way would be that you rent a car and come to Nakagomi Orchard. Then, besides visiting our farm for your fruit picking, you can go to Mt. Fuji area in just one hour. Furthermore, if you want, you can also visit local onsen, a nice whiskey facory, a winery, or local nice restaurants and many other tourists' spots quite easily.

From Nagoya area
If you want to come over to our farm by train from Nagoya in Aich prefecture, the best way would be taking JR express at Nagoya and head for Shiojiri in Nagano pref. and at Shiojiri first. At JR Shiojiri Station, you can transfer to either another express or local train and come all the way to Shiozaki Station.
Yet, please remember an express does not stop at Shiozaki Station. So, you will have to get off at Nirasaki Station (the one before Shiozaki) or please come to Kofu Station first as long as you take an express at Shiojiri Station.
In case you come to Kofu Station, you'll have to take another local train and go back to Shiozaki Station that locates in two stops from Kofu Station. At Shiozaki Station, you can take a taxi and come to our farm. It takes only 20 min.
Yet, please remember an express does not stop at Shiozaki Station. So, you will have to get off at Nirasaki Station (the one before Shiozaki) or please come to Kofu Station first as long as you take an express at Shiojiri Station.

From Shinjuku
To get here, one of the easiest ways is to take a Chuo highway bus from JR Shinjuku Station. The bus departs at 7:40 a.m. from Chuo highway bus terminal office that locates right next to the south exit of JR Shinjuku Station. You have to take the bus for Mt. Minobu(身延). The bus arrives at Shirane Michino Eki bus stop (Shirane IC West) at 9:58 a.m. and we might be able to come to pick you up if you want.
Through the following page, you can make a reservation for your seats when you come over to Nakagomi Orchard
by highway bus. The bus departs from the highway bus terminal office that locates on the fourth floor of the building and it is right next to the south exit of JR Shinjuku Station. The destination is Mt. Minobu but please get off at Shirane Ic West bus stop.

Furthermore, you can take JR trains and switch to Yamanashi Kotsu Bus at JR Kofu Station. between Kofu Bus Terminal & Sangaiya Bus Stop in Shirane town. That will cost you \580 one way.
In case you don't want to wait for the next bus at Kofu Bus Terminal,then, I can suggest you to take JR local train and go to Shiozaki Station that is located in two more stops after Kofu by local train and take a taxi to Nakagomi Orchard in Minami Alps City. That will be a lot easier if you don't want to spend too much time for waiting for the next bus. Also, that way will be a lot less expensive than coming directly from Kofu by taxi. Yet, if you don’t mind for the cost and still prefer coming here faster and in easier way, you can take a taxi at JR Kofu Station and directly come to our farm. The fare will be around 5,000 yen for one way in that case.

There is a toilet that anyone can use and also PCs to use inside the building.

THE BEST WAY TO TRAVEL IN YAMANASHI
as long as you can drive a car.
Here I am writing the best way for you in case you are willing to rent a car and drive here in Yamanashi prefecture. It is called "Torenta kun"It is a mixed word that comes from train plus rent a car.
When you buy the tickets for any express at Midori no Madoguchi" office, JR ticketing office, please tell JR staffs that you want to have the ticket for "Torenta Kun". They will discount the fare for express and rent a car. The fare is very reasonable as long as you want to take an express and rent a car as a set.
When you get off JR Kofu Station, you can go out through South exit and walk downstairs toward the main entrance of the station building. After that, please turn right and walk forward and you will reach to the rent a car site right next to the police box.
In case you get lost at JR Kofu Station, you can ask any station staff at either ticketing gate or Midori no Madoguchi office.

The fare of rent a car is around 4520 yen to 12600 yen per day. It depends on the size of the car you want.

If you ask anybody at a rent a car office (Eki Rent a car) of JR Kofu Station, he or she will help you with setting GPS, I believe. Please tell them that you want to go to Nakagomi Nouen (中込農園) (Nakagomi Orchard) in Minami Alps City. Otherwise, you can give me your call to my mobile phone and let me talk to them.
About Yamanashi
* In Yamanashi, there are many nice spots for tourists that I can recommend to visit, such as very spacious flower garden, Suntory' whiskey factory, Takeda Shrine, Shosenkyo Gorge Yatsugatake Range, Minami Alps trekking route and so on. Yet, as long as you are coming by public transportation, you can't visit many places in a day.
In case you want to visit many nice tourists' spots here in Yamanashi, the best way would be making use of Torenta kun service. Before you come to Yamanashi, you should go to any JR ticket office and apply for this set service of rent a car and JR express. Yamanashi is a resort prefecture and has many nice spots to visit. As for where to visit here in Yamanashi, I can give you some advices when you get here.
From Narita Airport in Chiba prefecture
If you are taking JR train, there is Narita Express departing from Narita Airport for Shinjuku, Toyo. It takes about an hour and 15-20 min., I guess.

If you are coming from Haneda Airport, take monorail at the Airport and go to JR Shinagawa Station. Since many customers from overseas ask me how to get to our farm from Lake Kawaguchiko (河口湖 one of the five lakes around Mt. Fuji) , I'm putting the following information.
How to get to our farm from Lake Kawaguchi of Mt.Fuji area by bus.
If you want to take a bus to get to JR Kofu Station (甲府駅), you can take Fujikyu bus (富士急行) at Mt. Fuji Station (富士山駅).

How to get to our farm from Lake Kawaguchi of Mt.Fuji area by Train.
(1) First, take Fujikyu Line(冨士急行線) at Lake Kawaguchiko Station to JR Ohtsuki Station(大月駅).

(2) Then, at Ohtsuki Station, transfer to JR Chuo Line and come to Kofu, the capital of Yamanashi.

(3) There are two ways for you to get to our farm at Kofu(甲府) Station.
Either you continue taking Chuo Line and come to JR Shiozaki Station that locates in next two stops after Kofu. At Shiozaki, after you get off the train, you can take a taxi and come to our farm.

Or at JR Kofu Station, you get off the train and come out through south exit and walk down the station building. Or at JR Kofu Station, you get off the train and come out through south exit and walk down the station building. Right in front of the station building, you will see Yamanashi Kotsu(山梨交通) bus terminal. You can take any NishinoKeiyu (西野経由) bus and come to Sangai (三階) bus stop. We will come to pick you up at Sangai bus stop.
*If you are coming from JR Kofu Station directly to our farm by taxi, it might cost you about 5,000 yen for one way while it will be 2,500-3,000 yen from Shiozaki Station to our farm. The fare for the train between Kofu and Shiozaki is only around 200 yen. So, practically, you can save lots of money with this way. As long as you are taking a taxi, you can make your call to my mobile phone and I can talk to your taxi driver and give him the direction to get to our farm.
